Authentic restaurant with terrace facing the mountains of the Val d'Azun in Ayros.

The terrace of this Bigourdane building faces the Val d'Azun mountains. Inside, the large dining room is decorated in red with stonework and flower bouquets. The cuisine, a subtle blend of local produce and traditional dishes, includes the famous Tarte Tatin with dried duck breast and a slice of foie gras. You can also try the Pyrenean trout with jurançon or the delicious blueberry tart. An authentic restaurant, typical of the region. Don't be surprised to hear Occitan spoken at nearby tables.

Nous avons passé un très beau voyage culinaire ce midi de 11 novembre. Tout fut parfait, goûteux, beau, bien présenté, raffiné, bien servi par un personnel de bord magnifique. Ciel bleu sur la vallée du gave de Pau, et dehors et dans nos yeux. Touchés en plein cœur par cet instant de grâce gastronomique, nous reviendrons au printemps. Merci à toute l’équipe de l’auberge de nous offrir de tels moments de bonheur et de partage.
