THIRTYONE BIKES
Based in Villeneuve-de-Rivière, a short distance from Saint-Gaudens, Thirty One was created in 2013 by Christophe Baéza, a fused bicycle insurer. The company specializes in urban and electric bicycles, both efficient and beautiful. Thirty One works in a traditional way by assembling its products by hand, to guarantee impeccable finishes and unfailing safety. Its first "baby", the "hybrid debut", hides an engine and a battery in its rear hub. Eighteen kilos on the scale, it recharges when decelerating and back-pedalling. A smartphone connection allows you to adjust the intensity of the assistance and lock the motor when it is parked in public areas. Thirty One has also developed a more traditional bike, the "début automatix", with automated gear shifting. Both models feature a neat design and luggage racks positioned at the front, under the handlebars, and trendy and clever accessories, including a clever anti-theft nut that prevents the wheels from being unscrewed when the bike is upright.
