OFFICE DE TOURISME DE VERFEIL
Verfeil is an ancient cathar bastide nestled on a hill, in the middle of nature, on the Toulouse-Albi axis. It is located in the heart of a virtual circle of a rich historical, cultural and wine-growing heritage, typical of the Lauragais. Verfeil was the place of life of the granddaughter of the Countess of Ségur: the family castle of the Little Girls Models and the place where they rest can be seen, as well as the castle of Pierre-Paul Riquet, inventor and builder of the canal du Midi. The Museum of Verfeillois, located in the heart of the village and open upon request, traces the history of the Countess of Ségur and its famous characters, as well as other historical episodes: the Gallo-Roman period, the Cathar period and also rural life. Magali and Nathalie welcome you throughout the year to find out about different tourist possibilities.
