Mathieu Combes created Ruches & Co, in Toulouse in 2015, after returning from a professional expatriation in Spain. This ecologist by training, a convinced and convincing ecologist, is now distilling his advice and suggesting biodiversity solutions to companies and communities. With his experience in beekeeping, a passion he inherited from his father, the young man defends bees and their precious role in maintaining biodiversity. Mathieu Combes and his team propose awareness actions, and install their hives on the roofs of companies. In the middle of the city, bees are thus protected from pesticides, especially glyphosate spread in our countryside. La Dépêche du Midi, the Diagora congress and exhibition centre or the Oncopole in Toulouse, as well as some supermarkets, have already joined the project of Ruches & Co, which takes care of the maintenance and harvesting of the honey before entrusting it to the company. A concept that is fully in line with the companies' social and environmental responsibility approach, and which allows them to federate their staff around a citizen project while enhancing their image outside.
