Pascale Chatelin is a ceramist based in Montbrun-Bocage. Born in Bourges in 1957, she was drawn to ceramics as soon as she attended the Lerat studio at the Bourges School of Fine Arts. She then collaborated with Yves-Marie Dumortier's studio until 1981, working in stoneware and porcelain in a wood-fired kiln. After training in decoration at the CNIFOP in 1991-1992, she opened her own studio in 1994. Her work focuses mainly on white earthenware, with a preference for plate work and the use of bright colors. In addition to ceramics, she is also passionate about gardening, which leads her to create ceramic gardens. Her studio is open to the public by appointment.
