The Faïencerie Jodra is the worthy heir of an age-old craft, that of earthenware and of an original style of decoration called the Old Martres. This decoration is the traditional style of earthenware from Martres-Tolosane, the artist city. Many variations of this decorative style have been created over the last two centuries. Here, earthenware is as much a passion as an art that animates the craftsmen. On the pieces, we find a wide range of traditional decorations: ibis, roses, birds and grotesque decorations.
