Created in 1984, Retina France is a non-profit association. Its aim is to bring together patients with retinal degenerations in order to inform them, provide them with social and humanitarian assistance, and help them to overcome their handicap. It also promotes, encourages and facilitates therapeutic research in ophthalmology, either directly or through a Scientific Committee, and publicizes the results of this research and experimentation. Finally, it tries to undertake, in a general way, by all means, all actions likely to inform and interest the public and the patients on the goals of the Association, the results obtained by it and by the work of researchers and scientists.
