This listed château is home to the Vosges du Nord Regional Nature Park
The Park House is located in a refurbished former "Bergschloss". The Park is classified as a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco, then recognized in 1998 as the first transborder Biosphere Reserve in Western Europe! The Northern Vosges, an important wooded area with many rivers, has a very diverse fauna and flora. An extensive documentation is at your disposal in the Maison du Parc, which also houses exhibitions.

On y est allés le vendredi 12 janvier en matinée. Impossible de faire la balade autour du château car fermé, à cause de la chasse! On s'est renseignés , les chasseurs chassent tous les jours! Le problème a été signalé à plusieurs reprises apparemment mais rien n'est fait. C'est aberrant, dans un endroit touristique ! Du coup ça nous a gâché la visite...
A faire de préférence lorsque les lieux sont ouverts.
