Maison Gélas is one of the leading names in Bas-Armagnac. A guided tour takes you through the winery, founded in 1865 by Baptiste Gélas. You'll discover the still room where the eaux-de-vie are distilled, as well as the various trades involved in armagnac production: bouilleur de cru, cellar master, cooper... The adjoining cellar-boutique houses over 800 references of armagnacs, flocs de Gascogne, plum brandies and liqueurs. The house has also developed recipes for Armagnac vinegar and mustard.

Cette institution vieille de 150 ans œuvre depuis quatre générations à embellir et promouvoir leur armagnac avec amour et conviction.
Je recommande sans réserve et surtout n'hésitez pas à faire une visite guidée de l'établissement avec Baptiste qui vous transmettra sa passion et vous expliquera autour d'une dégustation tout ce que vous devez savoir sur ce nectar qu'est l'armagnac.
The visit was very interesting.
The sampling was perfect, difficult to choose which bottle to leave with.
