MUSÉE PAYSAN D'ÉMILE

Throughout his life, Emile Castex gathered a beautiful collection of objects, furniture, clothes, tools, utensils and dishes from the world of the Gascon peasant of the beginning of the ^20th century. This astonishing collection has been on display since 1990 in a house in the village. Authenticity reigns there, up to the explanatory notes written with the hand, with full and untied. The objects are full of nostalgia, like the old-fashioned bathroom, the very first pressure cooker, the clothes of the past, which will awaken memories for some.
