Small hostel at the entrance to the village of Cancon, this beautiful bourgeois house of 1830 is an example of a successful renovation. A simple step to recover and stay at small prices at the accents of the Lot-et-Garonne, here traditional cuisine only swears by local products: Foie Gras and magret await you! The rooms are comfortable and quiet, the decoration is based on well-marked universes and one has a spa… It's pure happiness. Cet endroit manque d'authenticité.
Dommage de ne pas avoir pu manger un plat typique en plat du jour (même simple...) après, il faut dire que je ne considère pas les frites surgelées comme un plat typique. La viande bovine était locale et bonne (pour le canard, pas d'explication de provenance).
Idem côté chariot d'entrée : la salade Piémontaise (non maison), la salade de pâtes (non maison) et la salade de museau (non maison) ne sont pas non plus pour moi des plats typiques. Pas plus que la rosette ou le saucisson à l'ail industriel...
Tout ceci étant dit après avoir révisé ma géographie alors que d'autres devraient bachoter leur grammaire et conjugaison (mais je digresse) à défaut de leur cuisine.
