Dedicated to Saint Austrégésile (bishop of Bourges in the 6th century), the imposing church is classified as a Cluniac site (the^3rd in the Midi-Pyrénées). It is one of the oldest in the department since the tower, the oldest datable element, dates from the beginning of the 11th century. It would have originally served as a watchtower. In 1089, the priory was given to the order of Cluny, then the most powerful in Christendom. The monks abandoned the place in 1581 and the church was not refurbished until the 17th century.

Cette belle église romane située sur le chemin de Compostelle, fait partie de l'ordre des CLUNY.
Elle ne se visite qu'en été ou au mois de décembre, où elle fait partie du circuit des crèches.
A priori, on peut assister à des concerts en période estivale.
