Since 1937, the Lapeyre family has been committed to bringing out the character and authenticity of the terroir at Domaine de la Haille. Their 42-hectare vineyard is home to a variety of grape varieties from here and further afield: colombard, sauvignon, chardonnay and gros manseng for the whites; merlot, cabernet and syrah for the reds. Part of the production is reserved for armagnac distillation. The "La Haille" cuvées have a very fruity character, while the "Authentique" cuvée plays on the wine's framework and structure.

Excellente maison que je pratique depuis des années notamment durant le salon des vignerons indépendants. Je recommande le Blanc "Les Anges", L'Armagnac avec tous ces millésime, les pruneaux à l eau de vie, bref travail de vigneron de qualité et très éclectique. Le fil rouge étant le travail de terroir et la convivialité.

I had bought a bottle of vine from this vineyard in the castle of Lavardens... And it was absolutely delicious! It was dry wine of beautiful yellow colour. The coloyr reminded me of sunflowers around the castle. I lives the label on the bottle, so historic and folk. Wine itself although dry, neither sour nor tart. It was very pleasant to drink.

Journée exceptionnelle avec les viticulteurs, de bons conseils pour les vins, c'était une 1ère pour nous, mais à recommander.
Le soleil était au rendez-vous.
Le repas était parfait avec une belle côte de bœuf bien grillée , même, si je ne suis pas très viande, la cuisson était parfaite, et je n'ai rien laissé dans l'assiette.
À refaire...????????????
