Alain Brumont had the merit in his early days of creating a strong image for Madiran and Tannat, the appellation's king grape variety. For over thirty years, this winemaker of undisputed stature has been developing his 280-hectare estate, with an undeniable flair for communication. The underground winery built in 1988 is the first of its kind in the South-West. With 19 different wines, including the famous Montus and Château Bouscassé, Brumont covers the whole range of the region's wines: Madiran, Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh, Côtes-de-Gascogne and even chardonnay and pinot noir.

Le plus beau vignoble du sud ouest. Alain Brumont a façonné le Madiran. De grand vin fait par de grande personne. Accueil chaleureux à l’image des vins. La visite payante se termine par un repas réalisé avec les produits du terroir et du jardin du Château. A ne pas manquer si vous passez dans le sud-ouest

Uncorked a 2015 Bouscasse a couple of nights ago. It has aged beautifully. A very bright fruit forward wine with a smooth and balanced finish. And, I would guess , may be able to go another decade. Great wine at a reasonable price.point!. Cheers!

Nous avons dégusté à l'improviste les différents MONTUS et BOUSCASSE, rouge, blanc sec et moelleux.
En plus de son professionnalisme et de ses connaissances œnologiques et techniques, Thomas nous a accueilli de façon chaleureuse et conviviale.
Nous y retournerons très prochainement pour la visite guidée.
