COMMUNAUTÉ DE COMMUNES DU SAVÈS

Ua tèrra, un avénguer. A land, a future. The community of communes of Savès is one of the 15 intercommunalities of the department of Gers. In order to serve this territory in the best possible way, 32 communes and 44 community councillors have joined forces around different competences: economic development, land use planning, roads (except for the centre of the town), creation and management of infrastructures and high-speed telecommunications networks, early childhood, children, youth, schools, and animal control work together to prepare a dynamic future for the Savès. Their missions: to combine authenticity and modernity, to support agriculture, to promote communication and transport, to encourage economic development and to provide young people with equal opportunities through a quality education.
