Medieval siege camp in Larressingle, offering costumed animations around archery, stone cutting and weapons
On the outskirts of the Larresingle fortress, visit a siege camp (from the 13th and 14th centuries), reconstructed with several offensive and defensive machines used in the conflicts of those times. Accompanied by a costumed guide, visitors take part in putting them into action, and firing them as medieval fighters did. Overview of medieval construction, lifting and production techniques.
