A new generation of farmers is developing new ways of growing food. Have you ever heard of aquaponics? Aquapo- What? Well, the Aztecs were already using this system to alleviate the growing need for food! Since 2019, Eauzons has been a pilot farm for this project, which combines the recovery of green and organic waste (from salmon) by developing nutrients through bacteria and saving water (in a circuit) to grow tomatoes or other vegetables, fruit, herbs... and fresh fish!

Located in Aux-Aussat, Eauzons! is the first aquaponic farm in the Gers, founded in 2019 by a team of agronomists and specialists with a passion for traditional knowledge and innovative technologies. This unique farm combines the best innovations from the aquaculture and horticultural sectors to create a virtuous agroecological ecosystem. Thanks to a 1,600 m² greenhouse, the farm grows aromatic plants, vegetables and fruit, fed by nutrients from the fish farm. It also offers guided tours to discover the secrets of aquaponics, as well as direct farm sales. Nearby the farm, you'll find the Eauzons! boutique, where you can enjoy a selection of fresh, quality produce from the farm. You'll find vegetables, herbs and fish, all grown and raised in an ecosystem that respects the environment. To facilitate access to our products, we offer several purchasing options. In addition to direct sales, you can place orders online via the establishment's partner website or by telephone. Order collection is organized twice a week, so you can pick up your products at convenient times. The store also favors short circuits and limits packaging, using sustainable materials such as cardboard and wood.
