Tourist information office of Camarès presenting the must-sees of the Rougier, open all year long.
The Rougier is the last retreat of the Massif Central, a land of hills cut into a bright red sandstone, of which Camarès remains the "capital". Tourist Office, very small, but I was very well received.
The only problem is the place disabled, I spent 3 weeks Camarès and each time I spent in front, there was a jerk who parked myself on the pavement and half on the square disabled, I do not have could park me on place disabled, because it is impossible to open the doors so that I can leave my car and leave my electric scooter handicap. Comme il n'y a pas de catégorie, j'en profite pour laisser un avis sur le Rougier de Camarès. Cet endroit est incroyable. L'appellation "le petit Colorado" n'est pas usurpée. Une visite à faire au coucher du soleil pour faire ressortir les couleurs. Dépaysement garanti. Nous avons été littéralement sous le charme.
Demandez à l'Office du Tourisme de vous guider et de vous conseiller où s'arrêter et de vous expliquer aussi les coutumes des "petits cailloux blancs".
Bien sûr, une fois que vous avez profiter du Rougier, poussez un peu la balade au soleil couchant, les paysages et l'ambiance sont à tomber. Les photographes seront ravis.
