AVEYRON RESISTANCE MUSEUM

The museum of the resistance of Villelongue tells among other things the meeting of the Maquis Antoine, established in the valley of lézert, and the famous colonel Berger. On 22 July 1944, the FFI inspector had lunch with the Veny maquis. They were ambushed. The colonel was arrested and interrogated by the Gestapo, he was imprisoned in Toulouse.
