Founded in 1922, the Ariège federation of approved associations for fishing and protection of the aquatic environment coordinates the actions of 43 fishing clubs, representing some 10,000 anglers. It is responsible for promoting the activity, but also for safeguarding fishing resources, and coordinates the actions of the various local fishing associations. A federation particularly committed to the development of mountain fishing resources.

Club Hippique de Las Rives is a paradise for horse and pony lovers. Nestled in the heart of a 70-hectare estate, crossed by a small river and surrounded by magnificent scenery at the foot of the Pyrenees, the club offers an ideal setting for horse riding. Easily accessible, it lies between Foix and Pamiers, just 60 km from Toulouse, 145 km from Perpignan and 180 km from Montpellier. The Pujols airfield is just 4 km away, and Toulouse Blagnac international airport is some 50 km away. The club offers courses and competitions, and also organizes club events.
