The big fair of the mountain people with calves, cows, pigs, broods... dogs and sheep. Local products, concerts.
The oldest fair in Occitania has existed for 700 years (its first mention appears in 1258). These 2 days of festivities throughout the old town, allow mountain professionals to present their activities to the general public, among others. The livestock market exhibits cattle, horses, sheep of Ariège breeds. You will discover the pros of shearing, demonstrations of shepherds' dogs, all set to the rhythm of the bandas and folk dances. Tasting of local products and traditional Gascon meal. Concerts in the evening.
