Church of the Pyrenean Romanesque style located in Oust which has a rare unity and conservation
The Romanesque churches of the Haut-Salat region bear witness to the unity of the Pyrenean Romanesque style. The exteriors of these churches, little altered since the Middle Ages, illustrate the construction techniques of Romanesque architects. On the other hand, their interior decoration was reworked in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Vic-d'Oust, in particular, boasts a rare and well-preserved collection of Baroque decorations and works of art.
