The Pont du Diable, or Saint-Antoine bridge, located between Montgaillard and Tarascon-sur-Ariège, is a fortified bridge with two arches.

Between Montgaillard and Tarascon-sur-Ariège. Pont du Diable, or Pont Saint-Antoine, is a fortified bridge with two arches, said to have been built in the 13th century. As legend would have it, the architect who made a pact with the Devil could only finish building the bridge in exchange for the first soul to cross it. Cleverer than the devil, he got a cat to cross it! The dejected devil fell into the river. It's a beautiful legend that everyone here tells about this famous bridge... But we won't tell you the whole truth...
