In Engomer, it all started in 1978 with Claude Gimbrède, the grandfather, an old mill and a copper cauldron and years of passion, courage and perseverance. The basic products are local, the different milks (goats, sheep, cows) come from the farms. We will buy cheeses from Bethmale L'Estive, from the millas, ravioles with duck breast confit, but also from the bush. This cheese was moulded in a cloth by the shepherd and he offered it to the owners of the flocks he kept. A little that breathes the culinary heritage of Ariège.

Découverte tout à fait par hasard de la boutique d Engomer, mais les produits étaient tellement bons que je me suis félicitee d'avoir gardé l'étiquette à tt hasard... Quelle bonne idée. Je me suis aperçue qu'ils livrent tte la France, youpi !!

Si vous aimez le fromage de Bethmale, c'est l'endroit incontournable pour y trouver la meilleure qualité: du bio et local garanti, il est même possible de visiter le lieu de production.
Très bon accueil, produits délicieux, passage obligé pour déguster le Couserans!

Une superbe visite de la fromagerie suivie d'une dégustation.... fabrication artisanale et familiale. C'était très intéressant et nous avons été vraiment bien accueillis. Nous avons profité également du restaurant familial.... un délice !!! Je recommande à 100%.
