Super accueil, très chaleureux avec des environs et des paysages à pertes de vue la vue depuis le logement est sublime je recommande fortement cela eteit une très bonne expérience pour ma part le travail effectué par les propriétaires ont beaucoup de mérite et je les remercie pour cette expérience

My husband and I spent five nights at the Chateau de Camon that were pure bliss. Everything there is so beautiful and peaceful. Camon is also in a perfect location for exploring the many Cathar castles in the area. At the end of the day, coming back to the abbey was like coming home. Katie and Peter's gracious hospitality make this place feel even more special. We were fortunate to join a small tour that Peter gave of the adjoining church - a real treasure. We simply cannot wait to go back.

It felt like such a privilege to get to stay the night in this historic abbey. This place literally has its own attached village! I had read about it years ago and finally getting to visit was so special - I was giddy excited to get to sleep in a four poster bed in my beautiful room, with a suit of knight's armor solemnly standing guard outside my door! :) It has been beautifully maintained by its owners - they have struck that perfect balance between modern comforts and authentic period decor and ambiance. Peter and Katie are so kind - thank you for your hospitality and for sharing this special place with your guests!

Absolument formidable. La quiétude, la décoration respectueuse des espaces, de l’environnement et de l’époque du lieux. |Rien ne heurte l’œil, tout est harmonie. Nous avons l’habitude dans nos balades estivales de chercher auberge ou maison d’hôtes de charme et supérieur proche des « Beaux villages de France «  |Nous avons très bien diné , dans le cloître et le petit déjeuner très copieux servi sur la terrasse face à la vallée nous a permis d’être enchanté dès le matin. N’oubliez pas la visite de Camon !

Magnifique bâtisse dans un magnifique village.
L'ayant visité en hiver, je ne sais pas comment sont les commerces et services. Fête des roses en juin. Les rues doivent être belles et parfumées. À voir !

speciaal voor nederlands sprekenden: dit is in vele opzichten een top lokatie. hotel en restaurant een dikke 8 (richting 9). de abdij en kasteel, maar ook het dorpje Camon als geheel, nemen je honderden jaren mee terug in de tijd. de oorsprong gaat zelfs terug naar de 9e en 10 eeuw. diverse malen verwoest in voorgaande eeuwen, voor het laatst herbouwd in de 18e eeuw, zoals het er nu nog staat. Camon, met ca. 150 inwoners, is opgenomen in de lijst van Les Plus Beau Villages de France. de ligging van het hotel en restaurant is heel bijzonder met fraaie terrassen en tuin met zwembad.
