Un très beau musée qui permet de comprendre comment on transforme une simple balle de coton en fil puis en tissu. Outre le tissage artisanal, on voit l'évolution de ce métier avec le tissage industriel du coton. C'est instructif et intéressant.

Un guide absolument parfait pour commenter l'industrie textile des vallées vosgiennes et les 3 étages du musée.
On apprend vraiment beaucoup sur les tissus en coton, de la fleur de coton au textile, en passant par le fil, le tissage, l'impression>... Tout un glossaire à découvrir ou se remémorer.Parcours également dans le temps avec des explications sur l'évolution technique du traitement des fibres animales et végétales en tout genre. Exemples: ortie, papyrus, tourbe, cheveux, poils.
