Remiremont's arcades magnify rue Charles de Gaulle, the town's main shopping street
The arcades of Remiremont date from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. With its unique architecture, it is a very pleasant place. Witnesses of a bygone era, they are unique and have different shapes. They magnify the Charles de Gaulle street, the main shopping street of the city. You can admire them on both sides of the street. It is pleasant to go and stroll there, especially when the city comes alive with the first rays of sunshine. This is also the time when the arcades become beautifully decorated with flowers.
