Élodie Fond grows and harvests aromatic plants, which she uses to flavor her kefir. The farmer-brewer is based in Frebécourt, on the Vosges plain. Ferme de la ^5ème Saveur takes its name fromumami, "delicious". Its kefirs feature the flavors of well-known plants such as sage and blackcurrant. We also discover aurone, a sister of absinthe, with a cola-like taste enhanced by a slight bitterness. A very refreshing health drink.
