Castle composed of a 15th century castle, fortified gate with machicolation gallery, 2 towers, curtain walls and remains of moats
Today, we would rather talk about the remains. This place is told and listened to through a guided tour that you can book at the tourist office of Vic-sur-Seille. Built in the 12th century on the initiative of Bertram of Metz, the castle of the bishops of Metz will know successive extensions until the 15th century. In 1815, it fell victim to a fire. One can still see the castle dating from the 15th century with two large towers, high curtain walls and the remains of the moat.
