Castle overlooking the Moselle valley, one of the most prized residences of the Dukes of Lorraine with loophole towers, animations

Built on a rocky promontory overlooking the Moselle valley, the castle offers a magnificent viewpoint from which to admire the picturesque surrounding streets. It is also one of the few ancient forts in the East that has kept its architecture almost intact. This castle was one of the favorite residences of the dukes of Lorraine. Today, in order to bring life and sparkle to this 15th century castle, beautiful events are organized such as the torchlight visit!

A magnificent castle very well restored, tours following the signposted course, the explanations! A collection of weapons of the Middle Ages, a room of torture people, everything is to spend a good time in this medieval castle!
From the rampart walk, there are also splendid views of the meanders of the Moselle and Sierck the Baths.
