Schorbach is a village just a few kilometers from Bitche. You'll discover the work of Moselle artist Joseph Kriegel, who took 20 years to complete the calendar. Carved from blocks of pink sandstone and displayed on a 100 m² wall, it depicts 366 portraits of people who have worked for peace, tolerance and fraternity around the world. You'll recognize Abbé Pierre, Mother Theresa, Gustave Eiffel, Leonardo da Vinci, John XXIII, Robert Schuman, Charlie Chaplin... An absolutely astonishing calendar, a must-see, just like the website, which features saints, quotations and famous people every day.
