GALLO-ROMAN VILLA IN GROSSWALD
In the Grosswald forest, archeological excavations revealed the remains of a Gallo-Roman center comprising a set of thermal springs and a network of pipes. The villa is built on a slope on a slope. Paul Lorang identified typical tiles and a few ceramics from the Gallo-Roman era. In 1966, he reported to the Société d 'histoire et d' archeologie de Sarreguemines the existence of terraces. The Roman villa was part of a complex environment. There is no doubt that passionate history hikers will appreciate the discovery of the site.
