Officers under Napoleon III and established in Sarreguemines, generals Camille and Henri Crémer gave their names on this street. At that time, the street was named Kasernen Strasse because it was built to connect the Old Town to the barracks and place of the Tribunal. This street is typical of the Art nouveau style of the Belle Epoque and many of its houses and buildings are of German architecture. In the façade of a former brewery, you can admire a tiled decoration, as it once existed.
