EINHARTSHAUSEN CASTLE
Einhartshausen Castle, redesigned and renovated in Renaissance style by Count Palatine Georges-Jean de Vendenz.
The cradle of Phalsbourg, this medieval castle was built in 1390 under the aegis of Count Henri de Lutzelstein. It was subsequently remodeled and renovated in Renaissance style by Count Palatine Georges-Jean de Vendenz, who founded the town of Phalsbourg in 1570. In the 19th century, Vauban incorporated the château into one of his bastions. Today, the entrance to the building is on the second floor. The château is a stop on the discovery tour.
