CASTLE GARDEN
Built since the beginning of the twentieth century, the garden of Nilvange is inspired by the charm of the English gardens: games of perspective, atmosphere and sinuosities make the approximately 300 trees and plants that populate the alleys and corners of the park. Almost 1.5 hectares of greenery, classified as Jardin de France, surrounds the castle of Nilvange. The neo-baroque style building, for its part, contains remarkable works of iron at the level of its portal. Harmony, discovery and pleasure of the senses are at the meeting: Lebanon cedar, maple Negundo, Colorado spruce, lineup, magnolia, rare species in 1900, pleasing the route… And a refuge for birds (bird protection league refuge) or artificial caves! Picturesque and pleasant, the garden turns out to be a haven of peace. During the year, school audiences can benefit from gardening or pedagogical courses. It's good to be in a greenery!
