Welcome to the world of the "yellow faces"! This visit is a must in the Fensch Valley. Accompanied by a former miner, let yourself be guided into the bowels of the mine, through a 1 km-long network of galleries that date back to the early 19th century. Relive 150 years of miners' history and the exploitation of the Lorraine minette. You'll discover the evolution of mining techniques, with real-life machines and reconstructions. Un site bien aménagé, géré par une association dynamique qui permet au visiteur de découvrir les différentes facettes de la vie du mineur depuis le début de l'exploitation jusqu'à la fermeture du site. Une belle salle d'exposition complète la visite d'une authentique galerie de mine commentée par un guide, lui même ancien mineur. A cela s'ajoute une possibilité de repas dans le restaurant attenant. A noter qu'il existe une formule tout compris pour les groupes. Parking facile et accueil chaleureux, à visiter sans hésiter aussi par des adultes que par des enfants.
