Welcome to the world of the "yellow faces"! This visit is a must in the Fensch Valley. Accompanied by a former miner, let yourself be guided into the bowels of the mine, through a 1 km-long network of galleries that date back to the early 19th century. C'est un lieu de mémoire des hommes qui ont travaillés ici en Lorraine dans les Mines de fer. Une partie extérieure présente les anciennes machines servant à l'extraction du minerai. L'accès est libre juste en dessous du musée lui même et du restaurant attenant. La visite pourra vous emmener ensuite dans une ancienne galerie de mines où des passionnés et souvent anciens mineurs vous raconteront la mine. Je ne peux qu'encourager à visiter ce petit musée mais utile pour conserver la mémoire des ouvriers du fer.
