Founded in 1976 by Daniel Nicolas, who has just been succeeded by his son Julien Nicolas, the Maison Nicolas family butchery contrasts with the traditional butcher's shop, which has been located in the heart of the covered market of Metz for more than 40 years. Its unique selection of meat, charcuterie, delicatessen and homemade products offers more than 500 references. Unfailing quality and attractive prices, as evidenced by the uninterrupted queue at all times of the day. There are many favourites: red meats from the Limousin region, mature ribs of beef, as well as the excellent French veal and the audacious Tomahawk from Ireland. During the end of the year festivities, the House diversifies further with noble products: snails from Burgundy, truffles from Périgord, duck foie gras from the South West PGI, among others.

ou sont les sourires
le 3 mars je vais chez nicolas pour , feter l'annivessaire de ma fille qui habite portugal et qui me demandait une bonne piece de viande.
etant multihandicape je passe commande par telephone ou on me passe un boucher, je donne mes besoins , je demande d'etre prete le lendemain vers 14h etant a mobilite difficile.
paf pas de commande preparee, pour en faire une autre je demande la possibilite de m'asseoir,ce qui est impossible et je decide de partir rattraper a la porte par le fils nicolas qui tout de go me tande de mon enervement . je lui dit que cette commande existe il est necessaire de demander a son personnel mais ce monsieur repute tres hautain en fait fi. je part.
je note que pour les nombreuses vendeuses elles ont perdu le sourire ce qui denote une pression anormale .jamais son pere ne m'as recu comme ca.

Products of the first quality; meat an extra fresh and tender (their fillet of beef is a delight) wide choice of cold cuts, poultry, including pigeons and quail in the region; clean and friendly staff you restaurants to bluff by the variety of meat that offers.
