Since 1947, this little wooden chalet has stood at the heart of the lake, at the foot of the city of Metz. On Sundays and long summer afternoons, it has undoubtedly seen many families, groups of friends and lovers pass by! Here's an idea for a pleasant stroll: discover the Temple Neuf, from Place de la Comédie to Port Saint-Marcel, before returning to Ile du Saulcy and venturing down the Moselle's still-arm to the foot of the Saint-Symphorien stadium. As you sail along, you can say hello to your neighbors and friends, the swans! They're very fond of the bread that onlookers have taken to bringing them. Pedal boats, rowing boats and other electric boats are available for hire by the half-hour. Finally, after all that effort, enjoy an ice cream or waffle on the semi-shaded terrace at the foot of the famous Tour des Vignes. It's a pleasant, romantic outing in the heart of nature, yet right in the center of Metz! It's an eco-friendly way to take in the sights and sounds of the river! Summer is the perfect time!
