The university campus of Saulcy is one of the most pleasant in France because located on a verdant island surrounded by the water body and Moselle. This main campus is also the oldest since buildings date from the beginning of the twentieth century. The site is served directly by line B of Mettis, whose terminus lies at the bottom of the island. It must be said that it is this site that welcomes the most students: This is where the UFR of mathematics and computer science, humanities and art, letters and languages, law and administration, the IUT and the offices of the Presidency are established. At the entrance of the island, the Théâtre du Saulcy-Espace Bernard-Marie Koltès welcomes quality productions, students as professionals. Programming is very heterogeneous.
It also includes the Maison des Étudiants, which houses the various associations, as well as the main university library of the campus. Finally, the restaurant restaurant Resto U has three points (including a brasserie formula), a snack and a gym and gym.
