Friendly address, simple local cuisine, heated terrace below the covered market.

A new era for La Cave des Trappistes! It remains a must-visit address for journalists, artists and bohemian-minded quidams on the outskirts of the opera-theatre, in the shadow of St. Etienne's cathedral. This authentic brasserie has an atmosphere all its own. At lunchtime only, the tables are set to welcome gourmets fond of local dishes (calf's head, beef tartar...). Here, fresh, local produce is the order of the day. A heated terrace where you can share an aperitif with a plate of cheese and/or charcuterie is a real treat!

Honte au patron de ce bar!
Entrée pour acheter une bouteille d'eau un soir de canicule, je me suis fait copieusement insultée par un patron d'une rare impolitesse et mise dehors aux cris de "casse-toi bordel".
Alors Monsieur, puisque vous n'êtes pas fait pour ce métier " cassez-vous!!!"

Bonne adresse à Metz
Bien situé au pied de la Cathédrale, Place de Chambre, ce petit restaurant est un bon compromis qualité/prix sur Metz. Il propose un plat du jour de qualité à un prix très correct. Le patron est aussi un bon commerçant et ne sait pas quoi faire pour ces clients. Je recommande volontiers cet endroit qui a aussi une terrasse sur la place !
