Culture Bar-Le-Duc

Bar-le-Duc is a welcoming city for newcomers, and the AVF Cultural Association is here to help them integrate and discover the city and region. Part of the Meuse Grand Sud network of media libraries, along with its neighbor Ligny-en-Barrois, the Médiathèque Jean Jeukens attracts the curious by its exceptional setting. Nestled in the heart of an English-style landscaped park, the facility occupies the Château de Marbeaumont, former home of banker Paul Varin Bernier. Inside, the eye is drawn to the vast selection of references. Over 180,000 titles, including books, CDs, DVDs, comics, manga and games, spread over three areas. Events are also organized here (storytelling, workshops, meetings).
