Where to practice an individual sport Bar-Le-Duc

All year round, hiking associations in the region offer walkers and cyclists grouped outings organized around the head of the Meuse. If you were the only motivation of your entourage, it is time to join this small sports community! Difficulty: pretty easy.

This sports course is located on the heights of the city. With a length of 1095 metres, it offers thirteen steps, three of which will warm, a slalom, bars, rings, stairs… Each event is presented on a small panel and the course extends on a green terrain, presenting different species of trees. For children, a swing playground awaits them. The journey is close to the forest on the Sainte-Catherine side, which offers beautiful walks.

Vélo route - Voie verte is a bicycle route of about 60 km starting from Bar-le-Duc. The loop can be done in half a day (3 hours). Pack a picnic and off you go, you have eight stages to pass, several monuments to see, many small roads and landscapes. You will pass through Stainville, the castles of Bazincourt and Claudot (16th century) or the martyred village of Robert Espagne. Departure : Jean Jeukens media library - Marbeaumont castle.
