The course

the Ardennes Mega Trail is the most rugged ultra trail in the north of France even if 'l is above all and especially those that provide indescribable feelings, magic and unique moment of an encounter with oneself. But before entering the legend, it must be written down! Here, the ink is the sweat of an effort of 88 km and 4,800 d+ on the Ardennes Mega trail or 50 km and 2,600 d+. In the densely wooded Ardennes massif, we have imagined a saw-shaped running profile for you!

for the third edition the AMT goes 88 km and 4,800 m of d+ but keeps its state of mind, its philosophy. The route therefore takes the slopes of the two valleys of the Meuse and Semoy to offer you a "mountain" difference in altitude of 4,800 m, which means that there are about 20 climbs/descents over the entire route! It will cross or overlook the magnificent towns and villages of Tournavaux, Haulmé, Bogny s/Meuse (Château Regnault), Monthermé, Laifour (La grande commune), Les haut Buttés, Les Woieries, Naux, Hautes Rivières, Nohan, Haulmé. It is an ultra difficult one, especially as the organisers wanted it to be really self-sufficient with only water at the refreshment points: no sparkling water, no sugar... or anything! Not even solid supplies.

the Roc la Tour is the name given to the first edition of a race taking place almost exclusively on trails for a distance of 50 km and 2,600 m of d+ following the course of its "big sister" the Ardennes Mega Trail (the first 33 km and the last 16 km are common with a link of about 1 km). The race takes place in a densely wooded forest, a natural habitat for game, especially wild boar: that of a densely wooded forest massif! The Ardennes is a deciduous forest with many rustling sounds that will accompany your steps and maybe even carry them!
