Museum located near the hill of Sion in Vroncourt, presenting the evolution of the agricultural machinery during about fifty years
Near the hill of Sion, in an old renovated farm, Jean and Viviane Girard invite us to discover the evolution of agricultural machinery over the last fifty years. On 1,400 m2 are exhibited period photographs, as well as small hand tools, animal-drawn machines, the first tractors and carts, more than 600 items making up a complete inventory of the techniques of yesteryear. It is an opportunity to get to know the work and methods used, representative of the agricultural world in the Saintois. Inaugurated in 1990, the museum was born from the passion of a couple who have devoted their entire professional career to the sale and repair of agricultural machinery. It has fulfilled their dream of safeguarding the agricultural heritage. Jean found the equipment and restored it to working order, while Viviane created characters in period costume. With all these objects exposed and full of history, it is the soul of our villages that makes us relive the time of yesteryear...
