Located about twenty minutes north of Nancy, the medieval fortress of Frouard is nestled on a promontory, from which it overlooks the entire Meurthe-et-Moselle valley. From the top of this exceptional panorama, we can clearly see the cities of Pompey and Frouard. It was originally a monumental castle dating from the 13th century and destroyed in the 17th century, of which only a few remains remain today: the remains of fortifications and the round tower. At the initiative of Frouard Town Hall, the historic site has been the subject of various tourist developments. You can benefit from the explanatory panel with historical and architectural details in order to get an idea of the original structure and the size of the site
