ESCALADE AU VIADUC DE ROCHEROLLES

The Rocherolles Viaduct impresses with its 54 metres high. Dating from the mid 1852-1854 th century (), this granite bridge spans the Gartempe valley on the Paris-Orléans route and Limoges-Toulouse. It has 12 arches on two levels and its construction of stone stones lends itself to climbing. Close to Bessines (less than 8 km from the centre), it is a place to climb for members of the Alpine club in Limoges. Check with the club or tourist office for the dates of climbing.
