A creusois military doctor, Eugene Jamot (1879-1937) carried out a great deal on the African continent where he stayed at the end of his studies, incidentally, to tropical medicine. For years, it was the sickness of sleep that Eugene Jamot devoted to overcoming the epidemic that spread in Cameroon. The space that Saint-Sulpice-les-Champs devotes to this man was inaugurated in 2009. The project, led by the association Dr. Eugène Jamot, allows to travel between Creuse and Africa, to discover the action of this atypical doctor. Temporary exhibitions are added to the permanent collection, as well as to sculpture courses.
