With 950 animal species, including 240 birds, the Maison de la Réserve, the observatories and the paths set up allow you to see purple heron, black-crowned night heron and reed warbler. A hundred others winter or make a stopover. The most easily observed are the scaup, grey heron, mallard, coot, great crested grebe, common teal, great egret and common snipe. There is also a wide variety of dragonflies from the Limousin. The crested newt, green tree frogs, otters and bats at nightfall.

Même si le tour complet de l'étang est un peu décevant (puisqu'on s'éloigne du point d'eau et on le perd de vue), les oiseaux sont toujours présents (et différents selon les époques).
Et les abris pour les observer font la joie des petits!
Ne pas oublier les jumelles!
