CIRCUIT DE DÉCOUVERTE LES GORGES DU THAURION

The gorges du Thaurion, located beneath the village of Thaurion in Châtelus-le-Marcheix, are a remarkable place in any season. Whether you want to contemplate the river, fish or cool off, there's something for everyone. The history and diversity of the landscape make this a rewarding walk, accessible to all. The Thaurion Gorge discovery trail is 1.2 km long and takes around 1h30 to complete. The starting point is the Thaurion bridge parking lot, between Thauron and La Chaise. The circuit is of medium difficulty, with an ascent of +21m. There are explanatory signs along the way to help you learn more about the area.
